Why we started
Australian summer clothing is designed for a twenty-year-old with nowhere to be. Cut short, cut tight, cut to look right standing still in a studio — and then handed to a woman who has a 35-degree Tuesday to get through. Somewhere between the crop-top racks and the boutiques priced for a special occasion, the shops stopped dressing the woman who is actually holding the day together.
We refuse two things because of it. We won't sell a piece that only looks good standing still — if it clings, rides up or gives up by lunchtime, it doesn't go on the site. And we won't treat comfort as something you should have to pay boutique prices to get.
So we do one thing, every day: go through what's being made around the world and pull out the summer pieces that are actually worth wearing. Not the loudest trend, not the cheapest fabric — the wrap dress that doesn't cling at 35 degrees, the linen set that's an outfit on its own, the sandal you can still walk in at five o'clock. We bring those pieces together in one place and get them to Australia in time for the season you're actually living in.
That's who Sereine is for: the woman who stopped being the target market somewhere in her thirties and never stopped needing clothes that work. We sell women's summer clothing — dresses, linen sets, breathable tops and comfortable sandals and flats — built for the Australian summer and shipped Australia-wide.
What we won't pretend
Sereine is run by two founders. We're not the women we're dressing, and we're not going to invent a founder who is. We're not an Australian company either, and we won't pretend to be one — we're a small team based in the Netherlands that builds for the Australian summer, with stock shipped from our fulfilment partner's warehouse overseas. There are no invented ratings on this site and no numbers we can't show you. Everything below is what you can hold us to.

To make getting dressed in the heat effortless: a focused summer wardrobe in breathable fabrics, cut to be comfortable all day, at a fair price — with honest sizing and service you can actually reach.
Our vision
A summer wardrobe of fewer, better pieces that work with you instead of against you — cool in the heat, flattering without effort, comfortable from nine in the morning to nine at night. Pieces you reach for again next summer, and the one after that.
What we promise
- Comfort first. Breathable natural fabrics and shapes that move. If a piece only looks good standing still, we don't sell it.
- Honest delivery times. Our pieces come from our fulfilment partner's warehouse overseas, so delivery takes 5–10 business days after dispatch. We say that up front, in our FAQ and in our Shipping & Delivery policy. We don't promise express or same-day, because we can't keep it.
- Exchange first, not "return and reorder". Wrong size or colour? Email us within 30 days and we'll arrange the swap, subject to availability. If you'd rather have your money back, that's fine too — no restocking fees. See Returns & Exchanges.
- Sizing you can check before you buy. A full AU size guide with international conversions, and garment measurements on the product page wherever our supplier provides them. Not sure? Email us — we'd rather help you pick the right size than process a return.
- Your rights, respected. Everything we offer sits on top of the guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law, never instead of them.
